Parents Winter Party: Save the Date Saturday, January 26, 2019 This year’s Thompson Winter Parents Party will be held at the beautiful Arlington Town Hall. Kid-free!! Get ready for a DJ and dancing as well as a great opportunity to meet other parents. We’ll also have food and a cash bar. Be on the lookout for a formal invitation coming home in your child’s backpack. |

Green Team News: Create a Podcast for the Planet! Monday, January 7, 6-8 pm @ ACMi studio ACMi (Arlington Community Media Inc.) is offering a workshop to Green Teams on how to create a podcast. Pizza and refreshments will be served. This workshop is intended to give students the tools and inspiration to create “podcasts for the planet” that we can share at our townwide celebration of Earth Day in April and to support any students who want to submit their podcasts to the NPR Student Podcast Challenge. International Festival Planning Team The biennial Thompson International Festival will be held on Saturday, March 16. This beloved family event celebrates the rich diversity of the Thompson community. Events include a kids fashion show, cultural performances, country tables, global arts & crafts, and food. Arlington EATS Community Dinner The January Community Meal will be this Thursday, Jan. 10, at 6 pm at the Thompson School cafeteria. We hope to see you there. And save the date for Beats for EATS: Saturday, March 23, 2019, 7-11 pm at Town Hall. More information coming soon! |
AHS Building Project January Events As the Arlington High School Building Project progresses through the Schematic Design phase, the AHS Building Committee is hosting the following events to keep residents informed and offer an opportunity to ask questions. Learn more about the AHS Building Project. Jan. 9 @ 7 pm – Building tours, Arlington High School: Tours will take approximately 45 minutes with a brief Q&A session to follow. Jan. 14 @ 7 pm – Community Forum, Arlington Town Hall (snow date Jan. 16): This forum will include a project update and discussion about the estimated cost. |
